Meet Hannah!
Anxiety Therapy, EMDR, CBT, DBT & Strengths-Based Counseling
I'm the owner and sole practitioner of Willow and Wren Counseling! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in the state of Tennessee, and I’ve been practicing as a therapist in the Nashville area for over three years. I’m passionate about supporting girls and women as they navigate life’s transitions—whether that’s managing perfectionism, healing from trauma, clarifying goals, or finding confidence in new seasons of adulthood. My work is grounded in creating a warm, safe, and collaborative space where clients can explore who they are and who they want to become.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m an avid Auburn sports fan, an outdoors lover, and someone who enjoys traveling and experiencing new places. These parts of my life help me stay grounded, curious, and connected—qualities I bring into my work with every client.
Services I Offer
Talk Therapy
Integrative Talk Therapy (CBT, DBT & Strengths-Based Counseling)

My approach combines evidence-based methods to help you understand your emotions, build practical skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT):
DBT supports emotional regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and healthier communication. These tools help you stay grounded and respond—rather than react—to challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):
CBT focuses on how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop more balanced, supportive ways of thinking.

Strengths-Based Therapy:
You are not a problem to fix—you are a person with resilience and capacity. This approach highlights your strengths, values, and natural abilities, helping you build confidence and connect with what already works within you.

This integrative approach gives you a personalized path toward clarity, emotional strength, and long-term growth.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain heal from overwhelming or distressing experiences. Instead of relying only on talk therapy, EMDR works by helping you process the memories, beliefs, and physical sensations that keep you feeling stuck.

Using bilateral stimulation—such as eye movements, tapping, or gentle audio cues—EMDR activates the brain’s natural healing system. This reduces the emotional intensity of painful memories and allows you to develop new, more empowering beliefs about yourself.

EMDR is especially effective for trauma, anxiety, relationship patterns, and situations where your reactions feel “bigger” than the moment. You remain fully in control throughout the process, and we move at a pace that feels safe and grounded.

The goal of EMDR is not to erase memories, but to change how they affect you—helping you experience more clarity, calm, and confidence in your daily life.
